Our teaching resources are sorted by age group, then subject and topic, and then they are sorted into the type of resource they are, e.g. worksheet, PowerPoint presentation and so on. The categories that parents will find most useful are ‘Worksheet’ and ‘PC’. (Personal computer). Resources filed under PC are suitable for children to use independently at the computer. They may be games or interactive activities or in some cases pages written with a child’s audience in mind, but all checked out by teachers for their suitability. So, if your child has an interest in a particular topic or you know there is and aspect of learning they are struggling with, you can choose resources suitable for them to use. Save them in your Stuff4Teaching ‘Favourites’ page, and your child can access activities that you want them to be doing, from whichever computer they use, at home or away. They will get straight through to the activity without having to search around and get distracted by unsuitable internet material. Great for rainy days indoors, homework help or just supporting learning on a day to day basis.
