Fancy taking a home made packed lunch into school this Friday instead of your usual bought or packaged sandwiches? Or maybe having a traditional school lunch or dinner with family or friends?

This is what Action Aid are asking you to do to raise money for Child Poverty Day on Friday 17th October. Donate the money you save on your lunch to the charity to be used to help children in poorer parts of the world get a more nutritious meal.

Action Aid are offering a free fundraising pack and asking people to take part in the 'Big School Dinner'. They are also offering recipes for traditional school lunches.
