ButterflyThis could be a great day out for the school holidays. The Natural History Museum in London has the butterfly exhibition running until August 17th.

There is a giant maze to walk through where you can discover what life is like being a caterpillar, making your way through the undergrowth and even being attacked by a swarm of wasps! At the end, if you find the right route, you will step into a giant chrysalis and emerge as a beautiful butterfly. You then go on to learn all about butterflies and discover a bit of the feeling of flying by travelling down a butterfly zip slide. After that enter the tropical butterfly house that is full of all different real butterflies.

Sounds like a fun and educational day out for all.
